Series ticket

You can purchase a series ticket of five or eight tickets for yourself and for your friends in the DocPoint e-commerce (from 15th November 2011 onward) and at the DocPoint ticket offices (from 13th January 2012 onward). The festival catalogue is included in the price of the series ticket.

How to use the series ticket?

With the series ticket you can claim tickets to single DocPoint screenings in the DocPoint e-commerce and at the Bio Rex and Finnkino ticket offices. During the festival you can purchase tickets to single screenings in the DocPoint e-commence and at all the ticket offices of the movie theatres screening DocPoint films. The official series ticket does not function in the Finnkino e-commerce (if you purchase five or eight tickets to DocPoint screenings in Finnkino e-commerce, you get them at the price of the series ticket).

You can use your series ticket immediately if you choose to receive it as a PDF file. The PDF series ticket will be sent to your e-mail address right after a successful payment. When you open the file, you will find a ticket identifier (series of numbers) with which you can claim single tickets in the e-commerce and in the ticket offices.

The ticket identifier is all you need for claiming the tickets in the e-commerce, so printing of the PDF is not necessary. However, if you choose to claim your ticket at a ticket office we recommend that you print out your PDF ticket because the ticket's EAN code makes claiming faster.

If you purchase your series ticket in the e-commerce you can fetch your festival catalogue included in the package from the DocPoint ticket offices or from the DocPoint Info with your series ticket identifier.

Silent Film Concert: Rien que les heures

At the last Friday of January the Bio Rex movie theatre will be filled
with the hustle and bustle of a metropolis. The famous silent film concert
performs the groundwork of all city symphonies - the masterpiece of the
poetic French documentary filmmaking, Only The Hours (Rien que les heures,
1926). The film by Alberto Cavalcanti moves through Paris from dusk till
dawn and its original modernist music has been re-arranged by Maud
Nelissen
from Holland. Nelissen arrives at the festival to perform the
music with the violinist Lucio Degani and the cellist Francesco Ferrarini
from Italy.  Read more here!

Tickets: Regular price 17€, Students, pensioners and conscripts 14€.
(The discount is personal and entitled upon a presentation of a valid
student, pension or conscript card in the screening theatre.)
