Who was Sara Hildén? Mesenaatti (= A patron, eng.) is a documentary film about the Finnish art collector Sara Hildén. It premieres at cinemas all over Finland on 14th of June.

"Do not call me a patron. Call me a lover of art. Because that I am and have been during my whole adult life - ever since I bought the works of young artists of in Tampere as a young girl."

13. DocPoint - Helsinki Documentary Film Festival will be held 28th Jan - 2nd Feb 2014.

The curtain rises one week later than this year, so mark the new dates on your calendars!

DocPoint wishes to thank all the festival guests and rolls up the sleeves for the next festival.

DocPoint has a three-year project called Vanishing Point. It brings classics of avantgarde documentary to Helsinki. In 2013, we screened works by Rose Lowder and Stan Brakhage.
